Why do dreams sometimes fail?

Some dreams are realistic and reachable and if you try your hardest and put forth your best effort you usually succeed, but some dreams are unreachable. Some people’s dreams are reachable but they don’t want to put effort into getting to it. Some people just want there dreams to come true with out them having to work or anything. And some people’s dreams don’t come true because it was there destiny, that’s it. Most dreams that you have are usually very hard to get because life is hard. But when you become successful or one of yours dreams come true it is one of the best feelings when you earned it and didn’t get lucky. I think you can always do better than you are. You can always become better but some people don’t chose to, so their dreams wont come true. I think if you work at it and try your hardest 90 percent of the time your dreams will come true. Some people are too lazy and dint want to work to see their dream come true. But in Georges and Lennies case it just isn’t their destiny. They’re both working very hard to get the job done and live their dreams but it wasn’t meant to be.

How important is it for human beings to have a place where they belong, where there are people who know them and love them?

Its very important for someone to be able to call a place home or have a sense of belonging. When someone doesn’t have a sense of belonging you really don’t know who he or she are. Having a place where you belong is a good feeling. You have a sense of belonging and when you feel loved. Hanging around with people who don’t love you or want you around is a bad feeling. Being around people who love you makes you feel comfortable and you feel at home. You can’t truly determine who you really are around people who judge you and don’t know you. When you’re around people you love they make who you are. All human being need to be in a place where they belong. Having a sense of security is very important. Having a place of belonging is very important.

The definition of a friend is a person whom one knows and with whom has a bond of mutual affection. A friend is someone who will support you no matter what. Someone who will make fun of you, jokingly, someone who doesn’t snitch, someone who looks after you and someone who is helpful. A friend is someone who will lift you up when you are down. What can I say about a friend, a friend is someone who will not judge you. People need friends because if they did they would be alone and unhappy. A friend will like you for you and not try to change you. Friends are your sidekicks, your companions. A friend is loyal, honest, humble and generous. A friend is someone you talk to and it doesn’t feel awkward. A friend is someone is who is trustworthy and compatible. A friend is someone who will comfort when you’re sad. A friend will keep out of trouble and on the right track.

“Sometimes a person has to break the law to make sure justice is served”

It is against the law to murder people but yet people do anyway. And those people who kill usually just go to jail and aren’t punished by there actions. One of the worst things you can do is kill someone else because there is no coming back from that. The people who kill other people on purpose should be killed. Death should never be the answer to a problem. When someone rapes and murders a person and gets off because there is not enough evidence. That is wrong and when the law doesn’t take care of him I think you should be able to take matters into your own hands. Murders are bad people but not all murders are purpose. Some people do deserve a second chance but not many. Accidents do happen but there still needs to be consequences. “No one is all good and no one is all evil” that saying is so true. But it only takes that little evil to commit a crime and no one is perfect. But those who kill should be punished. I think you should let the law take care of your problems, but if the law doesn’t work I think that is when you should take matters into your own hands in order to get justice. So that person won’t be able to hurt any one ever again.

Romeo and Juliet

Was it wise of Friar Lawrence to give the potion to Juliet? Why or why not?
Yes because Juliet was going to be miserable is she were to marry Paris. She had only one love and that was Romeo. And she would do anything to be with Romeo. The Friar wanted Romeo and Juliet to end up together and he thought a fake death would work. And it would have, if Romeo had got the message. Everything was planned right it just wasn’t executed well. Romeo and Juliet were going to be happy and this was the plan to make it work.

Do you think Juliet should have faked her death? Why or why not?
No, I think she should have just ran away. Because no matter what she was going to end up leaving Verona, and why not leave so no ones life would be in jeopardy, especially hers. She could have just left with Romeo and everything would have been ok, but instead she decides to fake her death and she dies.

Would you have lied to your whole family if you were in Juliet’s position? Why or why not?
Yes, I would have. No one wanted her to get married to Romeo event the nurse towards the end. Everyone was against her so if she were to keep it secret then no one could stop her from doing something that no one knew about. She had to keep it secret or there families would d have had a massive fight and just more people would have died. So for Romeos and Juliet’s safety it was smart to lie to everyone.

What do you think of Capulet’s orders that Juliet marry Paris? Was he correct to do so? Why or why not?
When Capulet ordered Juliet to marry Paris you really got to see how no one cared about what Juliet wanted, everyone was thinking about themselves. The Capulet’s wanted them to get married because of their social class not out of love and that is wrong. The Capulet’s only wanted what was best for their name and now for their daughter. And only Juliet knows what is best for her.


Why does Juliet kill herself when she could be free?
Juliet kills herself because she feels there is no reason to life without Romeo. Her only true love. The only reason why she was faking her death was so that she could be with Romeo. And since he died she felt she needed to die to. Plus she couldn’t go back to her family they all thought she was dead. And she no longer wanted to life so she killed herself so she could be with Romeo in the after life.
